SHEFALI MAVANI SHASTRI, MD, FACOG
Dr. Shastri was initially inspired to pursue a career in women’s health and reproductive medicine by her mother, who has practiced as an OBGYN in NJ for over 30 years. “I feel honored to be part of a couple’s or individual’s journey into parenthood. I know how daunting taking the first step may be. It’s a great privilege to be able to educate my patients and to help them make treatment decisions that are right for them.”
“RMANJ is special because the entire staff, from the doctors, nurses and the patient service staff to the research team and the state of the art embryology lab is committed to achieving the best results for our patients. In addition to the superior patient care, RMANJ is extraordinary because our physicians and researchers are able to incorporate cutting edge research into clinical care to achieve exceptional pregnancy rates for our patients.”
A native of New Jersey who moved back to the area with her family five years ago, Dr. Shastri enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children. She understands her patients innate desire to start or complete their family. “Being a mom, allows me to be compassionate and empathetic to those couples and individuals looking to become parents.”
