MICHELINE C. CHU, MD, FACOG
Dr. Micheline Chu is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist Infertility Specialist and Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She earned her undergraduate degree with Highest Honors from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, continuing on to Harvard Medical School where she earned her medical degree. She performed an internship and Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale University School of Medicine, and completed her Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital through Columbia University.
Dr. Chu found her passion in medicine. “It’s in my nature to help others, and I find it most rewarding,” she says. “Every family is different and I feel fortunate that I am able to help my patients build their families.”
“I get to know my patients personally, as unique individuals, and I am readily accessible to provide support throughout their treatment process,” says Dr. Chu. Working closely with her patients, she encourages them to stay optimistic by focusing on the positives.
Dr. Chu is the author and contributor of numerous scientific papers and peer-reviewed journals and the recipient of several prestigious awards in her field. Her areas of specialty include polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), male infertility, and non-traditional family building.
Coming back home to northern New Jersey has allowed Dr. Chu to experience what she appreciates most with her family and friends, from Broadway Shows and professional dance company performances to the many fine eateries around Manhattan. She is looking forward to giving back to her hometown. “I grew up in North Jersey, so it’s wonderful to go back home and continue building families in my home community,” she says.
