I feel constantly engaged and lucky to have this career.”

“A big part of what I love about my job is being able to help my patients understand what they’re doing and why they are doing it,” she says. Dr. Yih spends a great deal of time working together with her patients, helping them feel like they’re a part of their fertility treatment. She says, “Patients often come to me feeling overwhelmed by the whole infertility process. It can leave them feeling a loss of control and it’s important for me to help them gain back some of that control along the way.”

Dr. Yih grew up just over the Hudson River in Hyde Park, New York. During her teen years, she was gifted with the experience of another culture when her family moved to Japan. She traveled all over Asia and Europe appreciating each experience and cultivating her love for cooking. Today, Dr. Yih collects cookbooks and enjoys finding new, healthy recipes to share with her own family.

A Giants and Steeler enthusiast, Dr. Yih’s family loves watching football together. In her spare time she tries to keep current by reading the newspaper every day. She also enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, gardening, biking, and playing tennis.
